Petra Kleinherne occupies the realm between abstract figuration and abstract expressionism. Using a process-driven approach which embraces the serendipitous alchemy of oil paint, form and colour combined on canvas in a type of shorthand: evoking fragments of ideas, flickers of thought or distant memories.
